Are VIP Vito and V-Class projects the same?

Mercedes Vito and Mercedes V-Class are not the same vehicle. Their original equipment, intended market and technical specifications can differ. Similar cabin dimensions may support related Ertex design directions, but every project is planned around the exact base vehicle, mounting points, weight, electrical architecture and climate systems.

Long or extra-long chassis?

Ertex can evaluate both lengths. Extra-long vehicles may offer more luggage and legroom, while the long version can be appropriate when overall vehicle dimensions are a priority. Passenger count, seating positions, luggage and daily use should be reviewed together.

How do market preferences differ?

Based on Ertex project experience, Vito is frequently considered in Turkey, diesel V-Class in Europe and petrol V-Class in Dubai and the Middle East. The final vehicle and powertrain choice remains dependent on the local market, intended use and applicable regulations.

What can be planned in the cabin?

  • Independent executive seating, ergonomics and viewing angles
  • Privacy partition, curtains and acoustic treatment
  • Mobile office, meeting and connectivity requirements
  • Display, sound, ambient lighting and starlight ceiling options
  • Nappa leather, custom veneers, wood and metal details
  • Refrigeration, storage and serviceable technical compartments

Original vehicle systems and safety

Exterior details can be evaluated within technical suitability, but Ertex does not replace the original dashboard or critical safety systems to imitate another model. The original roof is not cut and raised, and seating solutions must use suitable mounting and approval methods. Safety and vehicle-specific engineering determine the final scope.

Is there a factory Mercedes-Maybach Vito, V-Class or VLE?

No. Mercedes-Benz does not offer these platforms as factory Mercedes-Maybach models. Ertex can create a bespoke passenger cabin for personal use, but the completed project is not presented as a factory Mercedes-Maybach vehicle.

When should Sprinter be considered?

Vito and V-Class suit executive travel, family use, premium transfer and compact mobile-office requirements. When a larger private lounge, more passengers or greater equipment capacity is needed, review the VIP Mercedes Sprinter guide.
