Ertex Roots ProgramTree Identities
A vehicle's lifespan is thirty years.
A cedar's is three hundred.
For every vehicle leaving Ertex, we plant ten trees in our grove in Kirsehir. The species, location and age of every tree are recorded, and each one is linked to a vehicle's chassis number.

Tree Identities
For forty years, we have done one thing: build made-to-order vehicles by hand, each produced only once. Permanence is part of the nature of this work. Most vehicles that leave our workshop are still on the road years later, and some are now in the hands of a second generation.
Even so, leather fades, walnut veneer cracks and an engine eventually falls silent. Thirty years is the lifespan of a well-maintained vehicle. We cannot change that.
What we can change is this: add something to every vehicle that will outlive it.
Ten times the lifespan of the vehicle we deliver.
Most of the trees we plant are Taurus cedars, one of Anatolia's longest-lived trees. In the right place, they can live for three hundred years, and some for much longer. Growth is slow in Kirsehir's dry soil, but we are in no hurry.
The Roots Program connects every Ertex delivery with ten living cedar trees and a vehicle-linked record.
The Roots Program record begins when the bespoke Ertex vehicle is delivered.
Ten Taurus cedar trees are planted in the Ertex Holding Grove for every vehicle.
The species, location and age of every tree are recorded against the vehicle's masked chassis record.
Ertex undertakes field care, and the grove can be visited at any time.
Planting trees in Central Anatolia is not easy. During July, August and September, this land receives a total of thirty millimetres of rain, only three fingers of water across an entire summer.
That is why we plant in spring and use drip irrigation throughout summer. Every sapling remains our responsibility for its first three years. We did not choose easy soil; had we done so, the story would have been just as easy.
Ertex Grove is on a 300-decare Ertex Holding property in Kirsehir, immediately beside Big Thermal Spa Resort. Ertex Holding Grove can be visited at any time.
