FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Ertex expertise, VIP vehicle conversion, production technologies and international service network.

Which vehicle should I choose: Mercedes Vito, V-Class or VLE?

The Vito is a strong choice for versatile use and is widely preferred in Türkiye; the V-Class suits clients seeking a more premium passenger platform; the VLE is the fully electric next-generation Grand Limousine option. Ertex reviews intended use, passenger count, destination market and luggage requirements, recommends the most suitable platform, and designs it together with the client for family, executive or multi-purpose travel.

Does Ertex install folding seats?

No. Folding seats that are not securely fixed to the approved floor mounting points do not meet the safety and homologation tests required by Mercedes-Benz. Ertex does not use these seat systems; occupant safety comes first.

Can the original Vito or V-Class roof be cut and raised?

No. Mercedes-Benz does not approve cutting and raising the original roof. Such modifications do not meet the required safety and homologation tests, so Ertex does not perform them.

Should I choose a long or extra-long Mercedes Vito or V-Class?

Ertex can design both lengths. The extra-long version is recommended when more luggage space and legroom are priorities, but Ertex designs either length around intended use, passenger count and practical needs.
