No. Folding seats that are not securely fixed to the approved floor mounting points do not meet the safety and homologation tests required by Mercedes-Benz. Ertex does not use these seat systems; occupant safety comes first.

No. Mercedes-Benz does not approve cutting and raising the original roof. Such modifications do not meet the required safety and homologation tests, so Ertex does not perform them.

Ertex can design both lengths. The extra-long version is recommended when more luggage space and legroom are priorities, but Ertex designs either length around intended use, passenger count and practical needs.

No. Mercedes-Benz does not offer a factory Mercedes-Maybach version of the Vito, V-Class or VLE. Ertex creates bespoke VIP interiors for these platforms around the client's intended use; this is an Ertex design and production project, not a factory Maybach model. Ertex has no fixed list price for VIP vehicle design; every project is quoted individually, depending on whether you choose a fully bespoke build or a ready design package. The main factors are the chosen platform (Vito, V-Class, VLE, Sprinter, Caravelle or Escalade), whether Ertex supplies the base vehicle, the seating layout and partition system, material choices such as leather, wood and Alcantara, the entertainment and audio system, any armoring requirement, and the testing and homologation needed for the delivery country. Ballistic protection levels show which weapons and ammunition the glass and body have been tested against. B4 generally refers to protection against handgun rounds, while B6 and B7 provide higher protection against rifle rounds; as the level rises, glass thickness and vehicle weight increase. In Europe, glass and body protection are defined by the EN 1063 and EN 1522 standards, with comparable levels in the VPAM (VR) classification.
